Hello all,
I have connected several Annke C800 and AC800 to the N46PCK NVR via plug/play and everything was working as expected internally. However, I wanted to gain control of some of the features through third party controller and that’s were issues started to appear.
I have enabled Virtual Host and exposed individual camera ports that I can access via Web UI. Also able to get the rtsp stream for each respective camera.
However, I cannot connect to the cameras via ONVIF in order to get smart event information or notification to third party controller.
I have also tried to connect to the NVR since “Notify Surveillance Center” is enabled on all events I’m interested in. Despite of the fact that ISAPI appears enabled, the NVR only responds to device info query, nothing else. Also tried to activate the Alarm Host IP/ Port in the NVR UI, but it does not send and info out, as an alarm is being triggered. I can see the alarm registering in the LOG tab. Tried initially with NetAssist, then used WireShark and see if any info is sent out from NVR as alarm is triggered, but no output.
Also, tried to activate SSH, but neither root or admin work with my NVR password and receive Access Denied response.
I should mention that this is a 2020 NVR, and had the firmware updated when I added the AC800 cameras. Current firmware is V4.30.010 build 240515. This was obtained through Annke Support.
I have reached out to them but needless to say, not much help there…
I’m being told that ONVIF is not available while the camera is plugged in the POE port, SSH only available for their development team and not that clear of a response regarding the Alarm Host IP configuration.
At this point I’m wondering if I have any option in trying to integrate this NVR with a third party controller in home automation and receive info regarding smart event alarms. At most, I can get rtsp streams and get some motion sensing with ffmpeg…
Could I revert back to prior firmware and hope it works?
I apologize for the lengthy thread and hope for some viable solutions out there.
Many thanks!
