We walked away from Afghanistan .. and that was seen as weakness and Putin re-started his invasion of Ukraine
China is about to invade Taiwan right now .. already sees Trump as weak, do we want him to see weaker ?
World already knows USA does not have the political stamina to last
USA Allies will now have even less trust of the USA
What a big waste, now Europeans no longer trust USA weapon systems, nor USA as an ally.
China is attempting to pull Europeans away from USA as allies, and both Russia and China are attempting to break the Nato alliance.
( remember the only time article 5 was called on was when the USA did so as a response to the 9/11 attacks )
USA failed to break the Russia - China friendship.
This is NOT good for the USA.
We are closer now to "WWIII" ( personally I believe we are already in WWIII .. it's just not fully kinetic, economic warfare between USA and China is just one small step away from kinetic )
USA should never have taken away the Nukes from Ukraine. All nations now will want Nukes.

Right now the West ( USA, EU, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Canada .. et al ) is way behind aspects of modern warfare
Just posted a good video from Anders Puck Nielsen in the Russo - Ukraine war thread .. plenty of excellent points.
Defense now has the advantage for those who have mastered the new "Drone age"
( USA has one strong leg, the space based one .. needs a strong "Drone" leg .. )
One comment really stood out :
USA actually needs Ukrainian knowledge from this war .. disengagement will reduce that knowledge transfer, in my book not a good idea.
USA can continue to help on a more cost effective basis and help achieve a no-win for Russia.
