Again, insults. Fair enough, I’ll go and not return.

    Dahua NEW Tioc Camera

Hi, I don‘t know what you do for a living but I don’t appreciate being called a rip-off artist. I operate a business and I make a profit. I’m not going to apologise for that. On Thursday of last week I was asked to go and quote for a CCTV install repair because it had stopped working. I was...

    Dahua NEW Tioc Camera

Wow! If Dahua wanted to sell direct to personal customers, they would. They don’t. If there are no integrators then there are no distributors. Because whether you like it or not, most people can’t or don’t want to install their own CCTV. Whether people read these forums actively is...

    Dahua NEW Tioc Camera

I make my living selling & installing cameras so by all means give it away if you like. Just be aware that it’s already bad enough having to justify why a camera costs what it does vs Swann or Reolink without folks with apparently non-trade ‘trade’ accounts selling off cameras at trade prices...

Pricing is confidential between integrators and distributors. I’d get dumped real quick if I started talking money. I think every distributor has ‘special’ pricing depending on volumes and promotions from Dahua UK.

@ljw2k - I bet Oprema will just love the fact you’ve advertised their trade price on the open net! Other resellers/distributors are even cheaper ;) And aren’t they all 5MP?

I've just checked and the only options under Illuminator are Day/NIght/General and then On/Off/Auto for each scenario. So nothing there. And under IVS you only get Flicker as an option on the warning lights. That's running firmware 2.800.0000000.17.R, Build Date: 2020-06-02 which the camera...

I believe the Warm White LED comes on automatically when it’s too dark to see anything. This camera has no IR and is therefore blind in the dark without it‘s Warm White light. So I’m going to say no, it wouldn’t even trigger a tripwire without the Warm White light being illuminated, so there is...

    Yes, of course.

Yes, they only come on when an alarm event is triggered and the active deterrent lighting is enabled. They are REALLY good though. They light up the whole street with flashing red and blue. It’s just like the fire brigade have arrived.

It has no IR. it’s a full colour low light device, the warm white light runs at the same power as the IR on a non-full colour darkness camera. And yes, you can turn the warm white light off, but unless you have fabulous street lighting it will be very dark.

    Review-Dahua IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M Dual Starlight Cam

They have all the usual features of the cameras. They just identify as Camera 1 Channel 1 and Camera 1 Channel 2.

    Review-Dahua IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M Dual Starlight Cam

You see the camera as one IP address with channel 1 and 2. They are mapped as Camera 1 Channel 1 and Camera 1 Channel 2. You need a licence for each channel. They work perfectly in Surveillance Station.
