If you are in the UK or EU theres no point attempting to use the US firmware. I had this problem but the way I have it setup now seems to work. Hi Tav0. I have mine connected to an old doorbell chime and via hik-connect. Your findings are interesting. Rather than delete that file I wonder wether simply cutting that file out and replacing with a file that has the same name but a different tone would work? Im tempted to try it as if it... -

Id like to announce that I have the DS-KB8112-IM and its connected to my existing mechanical chime. We are talking like 1960s chime.
