Best Blue Iris setting for less false alerts due to windy cloud shadows?

Just realized that is capped at 100% even tho I set it to 500%, I thought the setting was sticking and not capped. 100% does work tho, for me at least.

Best Blue Iris setting for less false alerts due to windy cloud shadows?

For you guys having trouble with clouds/sun, try setting OBJECT SIZE EXCEEDS to 500%, just as a test. In my trials, what this does exactly (like it says) is resets the trigger when the MIN OBJECT SIZE (whatever you have it set to) exceeds 500% of that number (ie. you have it set to 200, so when...

    32 Camera - Possible?

Hello and thanks in advance for the info, got a few questions. What would be the chances, if the software is configured properly, of a server (hardware wise) being able to handle a (32) camera system efficiently. Now I know there alot of variables, but for the sake of simplicity, lets assume I...

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Right, or the ability to make one image larger than the others, like in the BI interface. We all can dream tho. I love the interface, it is really a great addition to the software.

Thx bp2008, exactly what I was looking for.

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Question. Tried a few settings, but not having any luck. The "all cameras" view is pretty grainy with my 2MP Amcrest cameras, but if I select one of the cameras to view solo it looks perfect. Now on another client of mine I have installed the cameras on, his remote view on "all cameras" looks...

    (16) 3MP Camera System

Nice find Bob! Thats a better deal for larger camera systems than what I was looking at. I use THIS for a base hard drive then use a 4TB passport (add more according to how many cameras), with a min of 8GB RAM. Seems to work for the systems I have installed so far. My only issue was figuring...

    (16) 3MP Camera System

Ya, I had limited space for the server, the client literally gave me a 2x4 space to house the equipment, so i went with a Intel NUC. Runs fine, but next job is a 16 camera setup and wanted to have plenty of room on that one. I don't really like it when the CPU is above 50% on a job. Thanks for...

    (16) 3MP Camera System

    5th Generation Intel Core i7-5557U / 8GB Ram / 250GB SSD / (3) WD 4TB Passports / (9) Amcrest 3MP / Win 10 Pro

    (16) 3MP Camera System

I am looking for a system that anyone is running 16 cameras running BI, all 3MP. Just the specs if you would. I am fairly proficient at managing the CPU load, but running (9) 3MP on my last build I was hovering around 60% and wanted to see some specs of other's hardware running higher numbers...

    Blue Iris and a NVR

Ya, thinking I am going to remove the NVR, install BI on the server and his desktop and be done with it. Would be the smarter move and everything would work a hell of alot better than the current setup/ Thanks for the replies.

    Blue Iris and a NVR

Can Blue Iris view the output of a NVR? I have a client with a SPECO nvr connected to (5ish) cameras, and I was hoping to use the BI software to view the cameras over the crappy SPECO software. Basically can BI view a NVRs output? Thanks

    .bvr video file editor

Ya your right, most likely best just to use mp4 in the first place. I view alerts via email, and the hard video is stored in my google drive account. Thanks for the info.

    .bvr video file editor

Ideally it would be nice to drop a mp4 of each clip once an hour, but just unclear how to do that
