    Indeed it is.. I have plenty of requests using ports 443 and 80 to the NvR and cameras in my router log. These 2 ports should be blocked NOW for good.

    Apart from ports 80,554 and 8000 there is also port 443 opened on my router. Anyone know what is it for? Seems like this is the where the attack came from.

    Not all NVR support PTZ functions. I believe 71xx series does not support. 76xx series does.

    This cam should be rated POE+ OR 802.3at and not simply POE as stated in spec :(

    I have 4x 3332 and looking to add another one, really like this mini ptz cam... I believe hik nvr 71xx series and 76xx series has similar spec. Which model is your nvr? Have you test this cam with the nvr's Poe ?

    Well, standard POE (802.3af) provides only 15.4w max. Minus cable lost , left with approx 13w to the device. And if this cam consume 18w max. Shouldn't it be a problem?

    That's correct and it is different from this hack. I had a look at the mtd5,6 and the language code =02.

    I have both (5.3.0 and 5.2.8 labelled). 5.2.8 was chinese but 5.3.0 came with hacked 5.2.5. so to answer your question , yes it does.

    FYI. 3332-i with F/W 5.3.0 on the label was also came with "hacked" 5.2.5 firmware. stable and no reboot issue...

I realize that this camera missing the "en" folder in the directory /home/doc/xml/. Following networkcameracritic's hack, I replaced the IEfile.tar.gz file, no more error message but...
