    IVMS-4500 Connection Failed

Yup, egg on my face. I've worked with IP enough I should have caught it. I missed entering the gateway on that camera. Entered and that fixed it. All three working now. Thanks Everyone!

    IVMS-4500 Connection Failed

fenderman, Thanks for responding as well! Are you wanting the TCP/IP or Port page? The ports (below) are set to the default on all three cams. Kind of an ugly paste job, but see if it shows what you are looking for.

    IVMS-4500 Connection Failed

blake, Thanks for the quick reply! I didn't read your first reply thoroughly. Here is what I should have said. I use the NAS functionality of the cameras to store video so I do not have a dedicated NVR. Yes, it is true, to view and playback video I have to logon to each camera individually...

    IVMS-4500 Connection Failed

Update. I wasn't planning on enabling the standard browser access, but thought I would enable it just for a test. I get the same result as iVMS. The connection times out on the same camera. I can access the other two via a browser just fine.

    IVMS-4500 Connection Failed

I have three HikVision Turret Cameras (all same model). When attempting to access them via the IVMS-4500 software from an iPhone or iPad via the Internet, two add just fine and I can access all the functionality for them. One however will not connect. I have added and double checked the port...

    New Hikvision Bullets DS-2CD2T32

I also would like to get an update on how this series of cameras is performing. I am trying to decide between this or the D2-2CD22x2 exir bullets? Any reliability, quality issues or other gotcha's? As the previous poster stated, there isn't any chatter on the web about this series.

IR Glare on EXIR Turret camera

In case it helps someone else. I had a HikVision DS-2CD2332-I EXIR Turret camera that had a nasty IR glare at night. There was a drain pipe close by and a light fixture plus guttering just above. I just knew one of these had to creating the glare thinking that since the IR and camera lense on...

HikVision NAS connection (plus performance alternatives)

Double success! We caught one of the guys that has been breaking into vehicles in our neighborhood on video! They broke in about a week ago while my other NVR was down due to a bad drive. It was good to have it back up, but I never expected they would return to the same vehicle a week later. I...

HikVision NAS connection (plus performance alternatives)

alastairstevenson, Thank you for the reply! As far as the NFS approach, Yes, I added the IP address of the camera and the camera still sees the whole drive (the full usable of 3TB). The good thing is that you got me thinking. I saw posts talking about using logical volumes. When I...

HikVision NAS connection (plus performance alternatives)

Yes, I've read the sticky and just about every post on this subject, but would like a current rollup. If it is yields something new, we can add it to the sticky. If not, it won't add clutter. QNAP TS-231+ Firmware4.1.4 with single 3TB WD Red drive HikVision DS-2CD2332-IFirmware V5.3.0 build...
