New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Uh oh. This Reddit thread suggests that the newer Reolink doorbells units are now using 900 MHz RF to connect to chimes, linking out to this Home Assistant thread with more details: Anyone know how my two units' reported "Hardware No. DB_566128M5MP_P" from the Reolink web UI maps to this...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

As an additional frustration, pressing Test in the Chime section of the Reolink app always results in the Reolink chime playing the City Bird sound, regardless of which sound I've selected for that chime. Seriously? Test should test the setting that's currently set!!

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Hmm. My Kerui M521 chimes arrived today, and I cannot get them paired. So I have two Reolink POE doorbells, each already factory-paired with their respective Reolink chimes, and I'm trying to add one Kerui chime to each of those. I have tried both methods, e.g. from the app and from pressing...

Stack video frames to enhance face and catch Truck Thief?

Actually I matched as many settings as I could. I see some of them were very different from yours, such as the illuminator settings were at Auto, and when I switched to Manual they were at 50%. Here's one that doesn't seem to have the same option as yours: I'm not sure what to pick here. I...

That was just a crop; it may have been misleading. Here's the .jpg, straight out of UI3, attached instead of pasted:

Ah, yes, this could be artifacting from artificial sharpening. Here's my setup as of right this moment: I'll match your sharpness setting and see if tonight's captures improve.

UI3 viewer says I'm 1:1, and I pressed the camera button to grab the JPG directly from this screen:

But why aren't my plates crispier? It almost seems like compression crush, despite my bit rate is 6144 kbps on a 1920 x 1080 stream:

LOL. They just came to talk the me, because their interior cameras caught someone walking around inside their warehouse. So I think they're going to get onboard. As a bonus, their technical guy is actually a residential neighbor of mine! He literally lives down the street from me. In other...

Stack video frames to enhance face and catch Truck Thief?

Yup. And they're a prime target to get hit, too. They stock easily-resellable consumer electronics, all neatly stacked in their hallways and offices in their original manufacturers' boxes that are marked with the contents.

Stack video frames to enhance face and catch Truck Thief?

My neighbor in 104 isn't interested in hosting cameras. He's just got too much going on in running his business. I'm disappointed, but I still have a shot at talking to 105, who has just as good a view of the northeast driveway. 301 is very interested in putting up a camera, and they have the...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Yup. I installed an Arlo WiFi doorbell for my parents, and it was terrible, despite the WAP being less than 20' away through a wooden door and drywall. So I replaced it with a Netgear WiFi doorbell, and it sucks just as badly. My parents hear "Connected to network" 20x a day. If the doorbell...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Ok, I've read through the entire thread, and I don't think I've seen the answer to this: If I'm viewing my BI server via UI3, is there any way to have a "visitor" event (e.g. doorbell button press) cause selected logged-in UI3 users to switch over to this particular camera? I have an office...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I should note that I'm using the wedge, because the Doorbell Camera is centered on the door, and the doorknob is on the side. Seems to work pretty well.
