New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

I recently tried to have the doorbell ring also on my phone app, so that if I'm too far from the actual chime, I can hear the doorbell, but I don't find a way to enable this in the app, without also enabling notifications for motion which then floods my phone anytime someone walks in front of...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Thanks @TonyR , that Tycon splitter is $150 in Canada, so it's a no go for me. I also checked out the FOV with my 2K Lorex doorbell and I don't get near the coverage that the dual lens (Panoeagle) gives me which is on par with what I wanted. Still on the hunt for a small factor dual lens, but...

New Reolink Wired POE Doorbell Cam ?

Could someone tell me if they are using the WIFI version with a breakout adapter that gets power from POE and powers the camera via the contacts, then using the wired cabling? I've looked into these type of adapters, and have not found anything that will split out the power to 24V DC, most are...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Ok so wanted to come back to this; seems that I didn't brick it - I did press the doorbell button w/o it being connect to Chime (after uninstalling both), and then I could not add it back into the app, but after a few scenarios I managed to do it. I have the Reolink Video doorbell wifi which...

Panoeagle PG-PG2086IRCS-P (dual lens) - option for corner coverage, some thoughts

I recently purchased one of these cameras in order to cover my backyard better (180degree coverage); driveway, backyard, pool. Currently using a WyzeCam3 (midway on shed) and a Lorex LNB8211x (corner of shed). These 2 cover my driveway, backyard as well as the pool, however I wanted something I...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

This is what I figured. The camera has been removed, so has the chime (off my mechanical doorbell); it's been replaced by a wifi Reolink doorbell. When I have time, I'll buy a battery and replace it, then test it out - however, I tried to reconnect it quickly, reset it, tried to add it, and it...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Has anyone done one of these battery fixes or checks internally? I'd say my battery is bigger than it should be but I don't really have a "reference" other than that article I found on reddit. Thanks!

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Thanks for the reply @Revo2Maxx , I'll take it apart and do the battery change when I can as someone has posted - I had a backup Wifi Reolink Doorbell, and have replaced it with that, the FOV is actually a bit wider on the Reolink which is better, it has web interface makes it easy to configure...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

I have a mechanical chime; this was all working fine till recently.

    Lorex 2K doorbell

@Revo2Maxx this started happening right after a forced FW upgrade; maybe it's coincidental and the battery is dead, but I've bee using this for 2+ years and never had an issue before that whatsoever with this. The RTSP feed disconnects (not just from BI) from any viewer, so the unit is going...

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Well the feed still disconnects once the doorbell is pressed/rang just as before....

    Lorex 2K doorbell

@cerealkillers ok so tag you're it... :) it should be &backchannel=0 not #backchannel=0 after adding this, the camera works in BI - but I've yet to see if someone ringing the doorbell will disable the feed

    Lorex 2K doorbell

Yup, here it is, once I put this in, the BI can no longer see/connect to the camera, just give me a No Signal RTSP: 404 not found In my previous screen capture I had pasted it on there (with typo) just to ask the question, I never tried to use like that.

    Lorex 2K doorbell

I'll give it a shot, but when I added it to the end of the streams above Main/Sub BI would not load the stream anylonger...
