Nope, its called troubleshooting. Absolutely no ill will in thinking the developer is out to get me. Your false assertion. Problem solved no further help needed on this.
Relax. I can't believe you spent time writing this. I have no issues with $30 for a great program and I renewed. I had to sort through if I was having a bug or not. Problem solved thanks to this forum. life moves on. There were no complaints in my messages.
I have had BI for years. My last v5 "extended support" year happened to expire 2 weeks ago. Really odd that there were no issues before I did the manual install of a small version number.
I had to manually install that version from the website, it solved the web resolution problem but it de-registered my license and now I have "blue iris evaluation version" stamped all over the images. Entering my license code doesn't impact anything and it deletes after each client restart. Is...
I've been playing with the sub stream feature tonight and have a few cameras set. For live viewing I read that if you click into 1 camera the view should return to the primary full resolution screen. Is that just in the windows client itself or should it be working in the UI 3 web interface as...
Thanks for this. The SFC / DISM scans seemed to clean up some unrelated errors, but I still have the same BI issues. I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of Blue Iris and I'm still getting the exact same error. I don't know what is going on at this point. I did a reimport from a backup...
Thanks. The cameras work via direct access. All 26 cameras can be briefly seen in BI before the software crashes. The problem has to be in the software somewhere or the resource utilization of the machine.
When in the console I'm getting an error message now that says "Lost connection to service". This happens shortly after startup and then the client ultimately crashes in less than a minute.
The webpage UI3 says the "the video stream was lost. Due to rapid failures, automatic reconnection will...
I was able to resolve this. Long term customer, but not on an active support contract. I was downloading the executable from the updates pages rather than the "full install" page.
Thanks I figured it out now. Your admin comment inspired the fix. I wasn't even seeing the clips panel. I went into the admin user "edit" and checked the "view recorded clips". This made the timeilne and clips panel reappear. I must have deselected a while ago without knowing this impact...
Thanks. Show timeline is selected and I'm not finding an upper right icon that does anything. Take a look. I showed an empty camera group for this image but the result is the same for other groups.
When I connect to Bi through win remote desktop I don't have the ability to see the timeline bar or right side panel of clips and alerts. Any idea how to get this back? Latest version of BI as of 1/6/18 and Win 10.
Thanks
