WebComponents.exe plug-in not compatible with Microsoft Edge Browser?

Has anyone tried out Microsoft's Edge Browser yet? Looks like the WebComponents.exe plug-in is not compatible with this latest browser. I can only view the live video using "Open with Internet Explorer" option.

Hikvision NVR's DHCP network lease time

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm using NVR DS-7608NI-SE /P with 4 POE ports. Yes, The way the NVR behaves is really misleading - it seems to assign IP addresses dynamically like a DHCP server but yet requires authentification with the attached cameras before it can successfully connect to them...

Hikvision NVR's DHCP network lease time

Does anyone know what is Hikvision NVR's DHCP network lease time? This is not shown in the interface nor manual and I noticed that cameras that have been configured with dynamic IP address and changed admin password will lose connection after a day or two. The "illegal login" email...

    Hikvision Tampering Alarm???

Wouldn't that defeats the purpose of having a tampering alarm since crooks usually strikes at night to tamper with it? If you are getting false alarms, then it'll be different matter altogether and you probably need to fine-tune your detection settings. Just my 2 cents worth.

    Daisy-chain NVR with POE switch

Thanks Fenderman, I've tried adding it manually but unsuccessful hence this posting. Anyway, will attempt again. In that case, I'll buy a POE switch and try to daisy-chain using the uplink port. It did cross my mind to connect all the cams on the same subnet as my WiFi router. However...

    Daisy-chain NVR with POE switch

Thanks to all for the prompt response. Hi corkangel76, According to the spec, my Hikvision DS-7608NI-SE/P NVR is a 4-port but 8 channels NVR. Hence, it is supposedly able to support up to 8 cameras. Like what Fenderman said, they assume we will use a switch somewhere else on the network. Hi...

    Daisy-chain NVR with POE switch

Hi, 1) Does anyone know how to go about adding a 5th wireless camera to a 4-port HikVision DS-7608NI-SE/P NVR ? All my 4 POE ports are used up by my wired dome cameras. 2) If I wish to expand further by adding one more dome camera, can I daisy-chain the 4th POE port to another POE switch as...
