Thank you. This solved my problem.

    Onvif Compatible Doorbell Cam

It's really frustrating how the doorbell event history is not saved in the app. The only way to keep track is with the motion detection, which at night can be a problem since there are bugs and dust that the night vision pick up. Also it's not clear enough if the red selected area in the motion...

I am beginning to think that the power on doorbell isn't a feature, but is just a inherent problem. In a normal state, a doorbell coil has it's available current to it limited by a resistor in the doorbell (the bulb). Wen you press a normal doorbell, you are bypassing the resistor and shorting...

Anybody else having trouble changing from 24hr to 12hr time? It doesn't take for me. Gives me "parameter error"

Yes the plastic had been removed. To clean would be difficult now, since I can't remove the cover where I installed it. It is mounted right up against a piece of siding trim, and I can't get my fingers in there. Once it became clipped in it's stuck unfortunately. I am using iOS

    Onvif Compatible Doorbell Cam

Installed it the other day and this is a feature that is almost a dealbreaker for me. We had the power go off and on a few times with the past few storms and the doorbell rang each time. This is VERY annoying for anybody with a baby or a dog. If this happens in the middle of the night it is...

    Onvif Compatible Doorbell Cam

After reading the posts on here and speaking with Nelly's on the phone I decided to go with the NSC-DB1. Very glad something like this is finally available that isn't a limited cloud based system like the Ring. Looking forward to setting it up and posting a review.

Troubleshooting single camera view freeze on Hikvision 7608NI-E2

I am having this same problem too with my 7608NI-E2/8P running version v3.4.3 with the desktop software iVMS-4200 running version v2.5.1.7

Updated NVR firmware published - NVR_78_79_EXX_V3.4.80_160718.zip

So disgusted that 3.4.80 has not been released for the US market. It would be so nice to simply go through motion events right on the timeline like Dahua does. Considering updating my firmware to non US 3.4.80 but I feel like it's going to only make things worse.

Highlight the motion that triggered the motion event during playback and live view

So are you all saying that I have to get into the local configuration of the camera? That's quite inconvenient. How am I supposed do that easily? I'm not about to start running Ethernet jumpers across my house just to re-config a camera through my local network, that's defeating the purpose of...

Highlight the motion that triggered the motion event during playback and live view

While using iVMS, is there any way that I can have whatever motion area that set off the motion detection to be highlighted during playback and while watching live? I'm getting many false motion detection evens and I can't even tell where they're coming from.

iVMS-4500 on iPhone shows camera names, but Windows does not

After adding a NVR for the first time or re-adding an existing NVR to my iVMS software on Windows, all of the cameras show up as "IPCamera1_nvr", "IPCamera2_nvr", "IPCamera3_nvr" etc, and I have to manually go into the software and rename each to match what the camera's already have programmed...

I want to see motion moments in the timeline when continuous recording

Newer firmware which has not been released yet for the US market, which screws those of us who decided to pay a little bit extra and buy the authorized US products so we don't have to deal with these kinds of problems in the first place.

    Onvif Compatible Doorbell Cam

This Christmas we upgraded to a Hikvision system. Had already returned the doorbird by that time. I remember that the doorbird could only handle streaming to one phone at a time. Would this cause the MPEG feed to the NVR to be dropped if you were viewing the feed on your phone at the same time?
