    From what i understand, you cannot answer the doorbell and speak from anywhere, without going through their servers ... be it an app, alexa, or a computer... If it was possible from a computer, i'd try and automate it through home assistant, but alas, i did not find how...

    I would stay very far away from Reolinks doorbell. I just dismantled one and replaced with a Dahua VTO/VTH solution. Unfortunately, they route any traffic through their servers, and when using Alexa for answering, its slow as hell (at least in europe has a 20-30 seconds lag). Its ok-ish if...
