I'll probably end up getting a graphics card, I prefer to do things right the first time. I just found this, so it looked promising: Core i7 7700K Kaby Lake Quad Core 4.2 GHz GIGABYTE GA-Z270M-D3H (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z270 Motherboard Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D Green 380W PSU 64GB...

Hmm. I was interested in having Deepstack run. Maybe if I can find a video card relatively inexpensive I'll add it for future DS use.

I may have to spend more than I'd like then to make sure I have a good future proof PC. Should I focus on Intel QuickSync or get a PCI video cards for encoding?

I think I'm going to be looking at maximum of 5 cameras and possibly a doorbell camera. So my needs are fairly basic compared to many. Thanks for the PC recommendation!

I did actually read that thread and that's one of the reasons I joined here and am looking for input. I couldn't believe how many supported that Youtuber and probably got burned by it. I thought the night image would be most important but I'm trying to learn bit by bit.
