Blue Iris - Private Network firewall settings

Thanks for the input. I was eventually able to figure it out, quite straight forward after the fact. I ended up having to add BlueIris to the list of programs that have the 'private access'. I was originally looking for a communication protocol or port like a router/firewall port opening.

Blue Iris - Private Network firewall settings

Hello All, Wanted get some of your thought or recommendations. I have a Blue Iris server that is connected to three computers running UI3 to display cameras around the house. This runs on its own network and is not exposed to the public. After one of the last updates to the server (Windows...

    5.4.1 - April 3, 2021 - Support for DeepStack facial recognition

I have been using a single hi-res feed @ 8mp and cameras at slightly above face height with good visibility. I am continuing to tinker with it to see what it will work.

    5.4.1 - April 3, 2021 - Support for DeepStack facial recognition

Hi all, I'm still struggling with this and a little perplexed at this point. I get the alerts 90-100% of the time correctly with the correct object designation but cannot get facial recognition to stop triggering the alert. I tried taking out the spaces between the commas out as suggested but...

    5.4.1 - April 3, 2021 - Support for DeepStack facial recognition

To confirm based on the comments, if I want AI to detect person and cancel the alert based on facial detection I would put: To Confirm: person, unknown To Cancel: Stephan,Stephan1, Stephan2, Stephan3 etc. In the overall BI AI settings I have corresponding pictures uploaded with those exact...

    5.4.1 - April 3, 2021 - Support for DeepStack facial recognition

Any one have any luck with the facial detection after all of the updates. My object detection is great, just the facial recognition doesn't appear to work. Have even taken the 'new faces' photos and uploaded them with no effect.

    5.4.1 - April 3, 2021 - Support for DeepStack facial recognition

In my case I have it setup with a single 8MP camera that isn't setup with a lower resolution substream and is just continuously recording. I have gone as far as staring into the camera to see if works and I suspect it is not fully functioning. Additionally the pictures I uploaded include high...

    5.4.1 - April 3, 2021 - Support for DeepStack facial recognition

I have 5.4.3.8 setup and working well with Deepstack. I get alerts of 'person, car, etc' upon triggering with emails. I have any of your had any success with the facedetection? I have uploaded multiple pictures from different angles of myself, and then put the names of the pictures in the...

    Number of connections to cameras?

Hello all, I currently have a 12 Amcrest camera system (6 cameras @ 5mp and 8 cameras @ 4k) with a blue iris server running like a champ inside a closet. I have a small Windows 10 Intel mini pc that I use for displaying the cameras in the kitchen. I normally use a combination of the UI3...

    Intro and design questions

Thanks for the input. Fortunately living in New Orleans most folks have raised houses so its 'quite easy' to pull cat6e wire underneath as long as you don't mind tight spaces. The spot where I was planning to have the monitor is hardwired so that should help quite a bit. In many of these old...

    Intro and design questions

Thanks for the input. Fortunately its far enough from the kitchen, its a large open space layout. Is a Mini-PC typically enough to drive a UI3 24/7 live view display?

Hello, New to the forum but have been lurking for quite some time. I finally bit the bullet and am significantly upgrading my cameras after another incident where my old system left me with limited quality footage for the police. I have settled on Blue Iris have quite a bit of research on...
