    TinyCam Pro w/ 2019 Amazon Fire 7 and IPC-HFW5231E-Z & HDW5231R-Z

Saying it is an Amcrest with 2-w audio works. That appears to be the only way. Thanks

That configuration doesn't allow me to use the audio out function. I can hear and see video but I can't talk back to anyone. I need to be able to use the audio out function of the Dahua.

    TinyCam Pro w/ 2019 Amazon Fire 7 and IPC-HFW5231E-Z & HDW5231R-Z

I'm using blue Iris but I'm adding the cameras into Tinycam by ip address and username and password. Isn't viewing the cameras on Tinycam independent of blue Iris?

    Adding DAHUA IPC-HFW5231E-Z

Alexvas, can you add this camera to Tinycam? I need the audio output function. I added it via ONVIF but it doesn't have the audio out functionality. I use this cam for 2 way audio at my front door.

    TinyCam Pro w/ 2019 Amazon Fire 7 and IPC-HFW5231E-Z & HDW5231R-Z

I got ONVIF to work. I had to update to the latest firmware and then add another account to the ONVIF user accounts. The default admin account wouldn't work. Tinycam kept rejecting the username/password. But adding another user worked. The only problem is that I have this camera setup for 2...

    TinyCam Pro w/ 2019 Amazon Fire 7 and IPC-HFW5231E-Z & HDW5231R-Z

I figured I out that the Fire can handle H.264 and not H.265. It also does work with software decoding as long as it's the sub stream like Looney suggested. However, I can't get it to connect with ONVIF. If I pick an Amcrest camera I can get it to work. I must have an ONVIF setting wrong in...

    TinyCam Pro w/ 2019 Amazon Fire 7 and IPC-HFW5231E-Z & HDW5231R-Z

I'm seeing on the forum people have success with the Fire Tablet which is why I bought it: Mobile Monitor Recommendations? But maybe Looney was running it with just software decoding. I'll look into other inexpensive Android tablets. I'm not a big fan of the Samsung lineup. I've had 4...

    TinyCam Pro w/ 2019 Amazon Fire 7 and IPC-HFW5231E-Z & HDW5231R-Z

I just bought the new 2019 Fire 7 tablet and I am trying to setup TinyCam pro and a few Dahua security cameras. It looks like it should be able to run hardware decoding. However, if I enable hardware decoding I get 100% frame drop. Is this tablet just not powerful enough? If so I'll send it...

Windows 10 Firewall Issue BI "Remote" Access

I am running my OpenVPN server on the same machine that I am running Blue Iris on. I got this to work by changing the IP address of the BI server from my local IP 192.x.x.x to the OpenVPN TAP driver 10.X.X.X.

Windows 10 Firewall Issue BI "Remote" Access

Im trying to access my Blue Iris server from another machine that is already on my local network. If I open the webpage for the BI server on my BI server it works fine. If I try and open it up from any other machine on my local network it doesn't work. If I disable the windows firewall on my...

WD Purple vs WD Purple NV

I've been reading through threads and the WD Purple HDs are highly recommended here. I couldn't find anything on Purple vs Purple NV. I was going to get a 4TB Purple drive but I am not sure if the Purple: Amazon.com: WD Purple 4TB Surveillance Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM Class SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB...

VPN Issue only after VPN server restarts

In case anyone else is having this problem, I believe the issue is with ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on Windows 10. There is apparently a known bug where ICS stops working after restart. You need to disable and then re-enable ICS each time your computer starts up. The exact issue I am...

VPN Issue only after VPN server restarts

I've been trying to get help through the OpenVPN forum but the only answer I've received so far is: "Do not restart your computer or google will get deleted !" Which doesn't make sense to me. So I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction. It took me awhile but I was able...
