    Alert problem with latest update

Is anyone experiencing issues with Alerts with the latest update? When I click on an alert, most of the time the video plays at the wrong point in time.

    Lightning flash vs AI

I am using motion to trigger. I set ignore if >40% scene change happens. Hopefully that fixes the lightning. I also noticed it was triggering whenever a bit of dusty snow blowed off my roof. It looks like it maybe partially obscuring one of the parked cars, then when it clears it thinks it is a...

    Lightning flash vs AI

Hey All; I was wondering if anyone else has found that a lightning flash (at night) makes Code Project detect existing vehicles as new ones? I was wondering if there may be any sort of work around? Last night every time there was a flash of lightning, my AI trigger went off. Thanks

Audio cutting in and out on recent BI versions

Hey All; Has anyone noticed camera audio cutting in and out on the more recent versions of BI? I've seen this happen a few times and rebooting the computer seems to fix it temporarily. I'm not sure how long it takes, but it eventually starts cutting out again if left running long enough.

    Video encoder profiles

I sent an email to Ken a few weeks ago and he fixed it in an update. Are you by chance not running one of the more recent versions?

    Video encoder profiles

I'm running the latest version of the BI server. I noticed that the 3 video encoder profiles in my iOS app don't match the settings in the BI server, webserver, advanced settings. Has anyone else seen this?

    Blue Iris controlling home automation

Well I got it working finally. The fix seemed to be changing the name of the MQTT Client ID from BlueIris back to mcsMQTT. Seems odd to me, but maybe there's a good reason. It's been running rock solid ever since.

    Blue Iris controlling home automation

Well, I'm not sure if it goes offline or not I guess. But if I try to run the test in the MSQTT setup menu after a few minutes it fails with the error 16001 I'm pretty much at the point of giving up on this. I have no idea what to try next. It just doesn't seem to work.

    Blue Iris controlling home automation

OK thanks, I'll see if I can figure it out. Another thing I noticed is that the mcsMQTT broker seems to go unresponsive after awhile. I have to muck around in the general settings again to get it to be able to successfully run a test again. Have you seen this behaviour?

    Blue Iris controlling home automation

I rebooted my homeseer and the test is working now. I removed my username and password for the MQTT plugin as well. I've got the following setup and do see some sort of MQTT message, but I don't think it's what it should be.... This is my MQTT request below... This is what I'm seeing in...

    Blue Iris controlling home automation

Hey guys; So I have my Homeseer PI device setup and working withthe mcsMQTT plugin installed. I'm having no luck however getting BlueIris to talk to it. I'm getting the following when trying to test the connection. Any ideas?

    Blue Iris controlling home automation

OK, right makes sense. I've been looking at the PI version of their controller. https://shop.homeseer.com/collections/smart-home-hubs/products/hometroller-pi-g3-smart-home-hub

    Blue Iris controlling home automation

That would be great if you could start a thread with more detail. When you say HS3, is this just the software running on your BI windows PC, or do you have it running on a Homeseer hardware device?

Are you using something like the Homeseer PI connected to Blue Iris via MQTT?
