    Hikvision nvr beeping and resettinf

    Not sure what brand the HDD installed is. The nvr I have came with it ore installed. Model nvr is hikvision ds-7608ni-i2-8p. I recently switch from quota mode to group mode. Hoping that fixes the issue. Everyone the alarm would go off I would restart the nvr and would work fine for a while.

    My nvr has been beeping lately every few days thst the hardrive is full but I have it set to overwrit. Once I turn it off and then back in works fine for another week or two. Today it restarted on its own. What would cause this and how can it be fixed.

    I will try that out. Trying to avoid opening up the camera completely. Last one i did that to couldn’t get the connection inside back together and the glass broke when I was reasembling. Was surprised how delicate the glass was.
