    I also don’t know how Synology could toggle the option. It should just be importing the cam alerts, I thought. I know most of you are blue iris users, so I don’t really expect a whole lot of help in that category, so I understand if no one knows or cares

    Successfully enabled windows explorer and toggled all of the settings. Applied in the on state and then back again to the off just so changes were made. Time will tell. Thank you

    I really would hate to return them because the video is excellent. I just can’t get past setting them up. For what it’s worth, I’m using them with Synology surveillance station, but that is really after the fact of the initial set up.
