    Excellent points by hereu - especially on the firmware files, regardless of the version, they have the exact same name. So be very careful selecting the file!

    I changed the IP of the camera, rebooted it, and now it is not taking my password, the default password, or anything. ugh. At least I'm well experienced in firmware loads now. :)

    I strongly suggest you not upgrade. Is there a reason you need to, or just because the NVR says an upgrade is available? My experience upgrading firmware, as well as many others, has been terrible.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I tried that before with no luck, but since, I've read where turning windows firewall off may help, so I'm trying that right now. Any idea why I cannot enter a carriage return to start a new paragraph? I've used vbulletin for years, never seen this problem.
