    Update: I unplugged the power, all 4 Ethernet cables from the switch, rotated them so each got a different port, plugged power back in. Now it worked.

    I have 4 outdoor cameras, all wired. Recently camera #4 would show up as the same as #1 on iVMS-4200 client just within an hour after I updated the port, I lost the image of the camera #4 and have duplicates of camera #1. How can I prevent this from happening?

    I keep losing the video on this camera. The next thing I see is at the device list on iVMS-4200, the one added to the client is not connect, and there's a new one detected at the bottom. When I add the new one, it's usually problematic. Any idea how I can make it not change?

    It is resolved. Nothing was changed, I just updated the ivms-4200 from version 2.4 to 2.5. I received email afterwards. I am not sure if that's what fixed it. I don't like unknowns. Hikvision provides next to nothing support, but the cameras are of good quality.
