    Worlds First Review - Dahua - IPC-Color4K-X / DH-IPC-HFW5849T1-ASE-LED - Full Color 4K Camera

Thanks to @EMPIRETECANDY and through this forum post https://ipcamtalk.com/threads/dahua-day-night-switch-utility-dahuasunrisesunset.18205/, I was able to get this worked out through Blue Iris. The forum post help with the bullet version of this camera but did not for the turret version. Andy...

    Worlds First Review - Dahua - IPC-Color4K-X / DH-IPC-HFW5849T1-ASE-LED - Full Color 4K Camera

Is there a way to configure this camera to follow the varying changes of dusk and dawn? I see I can set the day and night profile to a specific time every morning and evening, but really want it to change based on the actual dusk and dawn times that change pretty much every day.

    Worlds First Review - Dahua - IPC-Color4K-X / DH-IPC-HFW5849T1-ASE-LED - Full Color 4K Camera

I was actually considering picking up some smart floodlights that I could dim a bit if needed. Currently the bulbs I am using are dumb 100W bulbs. Thankfully in my current setup I don't get a lot of backlight on objects in front of the camera. The camera is at about 7.5' off the ground and...

    Worlds First Review - Dahua - IPC-Color4K-X / DH-IPC-HFW5849T1-ASE-LED - Full Color 4K Camera

Thanks @EMPIRETECANDY . The flood light is between 30 and 40 feet away and they do point towards the ground so not pointing directly towards the camera location. I was trying to see from other on this thread and images they posted if there was ever any blowout of the image. Saw a few that did...

    Worlds First Review - Dahua - IPC-Color4K-X / DH-IPC-HFW5849T1-ASE-LED - Full Color 4K Camera

Greetings all. After reading through this entire thread over the last couple of days I have some questions. I am seriously considering getting an IPC-Color4k-x for my garage. Currently I am using a very crappy Reolink camera before I knew better. At night it stays in full color because there...

IP Camera Feed Delay over POE COAX

Just checked out some reviews on the 4k turret you posted @wittaj. That camera is pretty amazing under low light conditions and my front porch has a light on outside all night so this would likely work perfectly for what I am needing to do. I'll likely look to see if there is an equivalent...

IP Camera Feed Delay over POE COAX

Ok, we are now just over 1 hour in and the delay has not returned. It looks like the default buffer size was causing the issue. I want to thank everyone who gave me some areas to look at. On another note, @wittaj you mentioned that this camera had issues with the processor not being scaled...

IP Camera Feed Delay over POE COAX

Thanks everyone, great ideas to try and I will work through them each to see which one may solve my issue. I did try one other thing last night that did fix the issue shown in my network traffic graph. I had the camera set to H.264H and thought I would try H.264 instead. This caused the...

IP Camera Feed Delay over POE COAX

Well, did take long. In the time it took me to reply to your post and go back to view the camera in BI it was already delayed by 30 seconds and fast approaching the minute mark. I noticed in BI it was incrementing 1 second on the camera for approximately every 2 seconds in real-time. I...

IP Camera Feed Delay over POE COAX

@wittaj Thanks for the information. I do not recall setting it up with the QR code, but it is possible. Never used the cloud storage, so that was disabled. I went to the camera directly and disabled the P2P and restarted the camera. Will see if by tomorrow morning if that has made a...

IP Camera Feed Delay over POE COAX

Greetings all. This is my first post as I am at a loss for identifying the issue that I am having with one of my cameras. Typically I am able to find the answers somewhere in the forums. After a house fire 17 years ago, I had the security alarm company run a line for me to use for a camera on...
