    Help with Hikvision P2P

Des, pls see attached photo, the ports are 9010 & 9020. My machine's firmware is pretty new, v3.4.62, and those 2 ports only appears on 'Upnp' tab, but not on the 'more setting' tab, still pretty confusing, I think Hik is trying to redesign its P2P service, I doubt your camera will have the...

    Help with Hikvision P2P

Des69, Forget about using p2p to 'remote configure' at this moment. I just figured out that hikvision just added 2 more ports for this function to work. That means you need to do port forwarding for 'p2p remote configure' to function properly, which is ridiculous to the basic of P2P. The ports...

    Help with Hikvision P2P

Did you use ivms4200 or just log into your p2p account through web browser. You need to add that camera into your ivms4200 application, then you can 'remote config' it.

Abdullah000, thanks for the reply. I figured that out already. It is the machine's problem, not the p2p service.

Anybody who couldn't make the p2p worked, pls double check your 'prefer ddns server' and 'alternative ddns server' setting, pls point it to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 or any known ddns server that you know is working correctly, say your router's address. Without a correct DDNS server address, your...

    Randomly cameras go off...

I hope this will help. Pls look at the attached picture. Log into your cameras, I bet that setting is way too high now. Sometimes, a software glitch will make this too high, and you will see your problem. You can try adjust them manually back to normal, say 4096 mainstream, and 512k substream...

    Randomly cameras go off...

factory default the NVR, then factory default those 2 problem cameras. This is quite possible a software error, that makes the 'max bit rate' mismatching between the cameras and NVR.

    NVR + Switch not working

Sorry for the late reply, here is the whole picture, hope it can help: 1. router(192.18.1.1) > poe switch 2. nvr(192.168.1.104, gateway:192.168.1.1 netmask:255.255.255.0) > router or poe switch 3. 2 cam(192.168.254.X) > nvr poe ports (you don't have to do anything on the 'internal NIC'...

    NVR + Switch not working

I didn't tried read all post clearly. You can tried this: Basically, your posted picture above is totally correct. 1. Plug the poe switch into the Lan port of the NVR. 2. Use sadp to activate the 3 units that you intended to use through the poe switch, assign them ip address...

Strange problem with hikvision nvr DS-9600 series and DS-2CD2035-I ip cameras

Try default the camera that doesn't work, and set it up again. Logically, what you are doing is workable. But ain't IP cameras plug&play? Why giving yourself hard time set things up manually?

    Email Alerts Have Stopped Working.

Tried the 'push alarm' function instead of 'email alert. Under the 'linkage method' on the 'motion detection' setup, instead of checking 'send email', just check 'notify surveillance center', then on your phone App - ivms4500, enable 'alarm' for your device. Any motion detected by the NVR, it...

Pls help on IP camera password setting

In my understanding, Hikvision NVR will activate all cameras that are directly plugged into its poe ports, say the NVR's password is 'pw1', then all the cameras will bear 'pw1' after they are activated. If I change my NVR password to 'pw2', what will happen to all cameras on poe? Well actually...
