It shows on on playback only for a second at a time every say 30 seconds. Not sure if its a camera fault or my NAS that is recording the data. Can't say I have noticed it when just on playback..

Ok so If your camera has a firmware sticker below 5.2.5 (not including), you don't use this one. If you read the posts you will understand. wheres should I be reading, two cameras dead, firmware on sticker says 5.2.0

Thanks for reply, cant ping that IP as I have set them to my own 192 range (see photo above) and at time didnt know they coming from china was uk seller, uk camera but lesson learnt, just dont want to throw away 2 cameras over firmware :((
