Shot in the dark but...has anyone got iVMS-4500 to work with an Amazon Fire HD tab

I finally ended up using tinycam, it looks excellent to see both of my IP cams. I don't view them while away from home. My Fire HD 8 7th generation has a bit of a slow Wi-Fi and drops frames, but its not really noticable. I bought two 10 in Galaxy Tab A tablets from Costco when they were...

cpu running much higher after update 4.5.3.7

I also noticed higher CPU after installing the update. I two Hikvision IP cameras and blue iris on a plain vanilla Dell XPS 8900 with i7, win 10 pro 64 bit, 16GB ram, and a Nvidia GTX 750 Ti. Cpu went from 14-16 to 24-25 with the new version. I reverted to 4.5.3.0 and it dropped back to 14-16.

Shot in the dark but...has anyone got iVMS-4500 to work with an Amazon Fire HD tab

I USE IP Cam Viewer (free) with my Amazon Fire TV its one of the few apps that supports Fire TV natively, and it adapts to pretty much any tv set with a hdmi input. It can be installed and configured using the remote, but the smart phone apps are easier. I connect it directly to the cameras...

Shot in the dark but...has anyone got iVMS-4500 to work with an Amazon Fire HD tab

I don't have a fire stick, so someone who does might comment. iVMS 4500 and 4500 HD run fine on the Galaxy Tab A. I have just 2 cams, and would like a 2 cam screen, but its single or four. I had it running for 3 or 4 hours today, and one cam stopped responding. I closed and restarted iVMS...

Shot in the dark but...has anyone got iVMS-4500 to work with an Amazon Fire HD tab

I use IP Cam on my Amazon Fire TV (Latest) it works fine. I have no plans to tinker with it, its located in a difficult to access place, and cannot be accessed on my Network like a Kindle. I tried iVMS on two different generation Kindle tablets, a Kindle Fire HD 8.9 and a Kindle Fire HD 8"...

Shot in the dark but...has anyone got iVMS-4500 to work with an Amazon Fire HD tab

I was using a Kindle with the Silk Browser. I plan to install BI again on a different pc and try once more. I tried landscape and portrait but could not get rid of that clips list. It could be that the older Kindle is stuck with a older version of Silk that is not updated any longer. I tried...

Shot in the dark but...has anyone got iVMS-4500 to work with an Amazon Fire HD tab

I'd sure like to know what options are available for the BI page that is accessed from a browser. I tried everything I could think of to change it, but it seemed to be a fixed layout. The two Cam images on the screen are placed side by side in a area ~2/3 of the screen. The screen is about...

Shot in the dark but...has anyone got iVMS-4500 to work with an Amazon Fire HD tab

Now, after several days of sitting doing nothing, my trial of BI expired. Its not as though I don't have software running, everything I have works, but the cam viewer app is slow, so I'm looking for something better. The problem is that I'm learning as I go, and that can get expensive if I buy...

Shot in the dark but...has anyone got iVMS-4500 to work with an Amazon Fire HD tab

I was able to get tiny camera to run on my Kindle Fire HD 8 (latest version) and it works great. Unfortunately, it will not run on those older Kindle Fire HD 8.9 inch units. Rooting them is beyond my skill level, and I suspect that the older hardware is still going to be limited. I don't mind...

Shot in the dark but...has anyone got iVMS-4500 to work with an Amazon Fire HD tab

I see the same issue. I have five Kindles (4 older Fire HD 8.9) in various locations running IP Cam viewer which works fine, but is very slow, so I'm looking for a faster solution. They run on different hot spots, its not the wi-fi thats slow. I think that IP cam viewer is slow. I was...
