Best microcontroller camera? (Raspberry pi, Arduino etc...)

Of course I'm not kidding I'm not too worried about talking on a cellphone a few times a day for 10-20 minutes (I mostly text). I'm worried about walking or riding around all day with a cellphone bodycam against by body while it emits cellular radiation into my body. That's just basic common...

Best microcontroller camera? (Raspberry pi, Arduino etc...)

I'll look into that. Thanks After discussions on YouTube it appears one of my best choices is a Arducam camera module connected to any microcontroller. The Raspberry Pi (or one of the many other Pi's) will work fine since its easily within my budget, and the endless software is free. The Pi...

Best microcontroller camera? (Raspberry pi, Arduino etc...)

Thanks, those are some of the Sony Starvis modules I'm looking for. But I will buy them on Amazon. I'm actually looking for the proper PC board to plug those cameras in to. Maybe I'll just get a Raspberry Pi and hope for the best results

Best microcontroller camera? (Raspberry pi, Arduino etc...)

I'm not familiar with any of this, I'm presuming hypothetical problems -which always arise-, and looking for answers to them before I even start. Everyone familiar with building cameras with these microcontrollers will understand what specific problems im referring to, even if I don't. They...

Best microcontroller camera? (Raspberry pi, Arduino etc...)

I believe all the firmware/ software is free

Best microcontroller camera? (Raspberry pi, Arduino etc...)

No problem. There are specialized experts here that can extensively answer it. I started to research it myself, but thought it would be far less time consuming to come here and get specific questions answered, than sift through the pages of information.

Best microcontroller camera? (Raspberry pi, Arduino etc...)

When I came to this board, one of the first things I read here was, "security cameras are like rabbits, they reproduce rapidly". Which I quickly found to be accurate information. My initial plan was 2-3 cameras for a small warehouse. I'm now up to 5 cameras and looking to expand once again But...

Can I use a access point in a offline LAN system?

"the Nano can be configured to operate with either phones or other routers and will, IMO, operate better than trying to use a router in client mode (add wireless to a wired camera) but I feel I must re-state: the best performance comes with a pair of these radios configured as Layer 2...

Can I use a access point in a offline LAN system?

I plan on using the Nano in the warehouse, it has a lot of advantages including creating a long range mesh network. My current router is set to AP mode, and I was thinking I may only need one Nano. But the question is if I get only one, can it run as a stand alone AP with 2-3 separate cameras on...

Can I use a access point in a offline LAN system?

I might do that. I can get a cheap router to get my phone on the network. At this point the Nanos are my first option. But I'm intrigued with the LoRa setup for an alternate auxiliary project

Can I use a access point in a offline LAN system?

Nice, I'm now on a rabbit trail looking at this setup, as well as audio/video transceivers, and LoRa that transmits over 100 km (62 miles). This will keep me busy for a while. Thanks for the help

Can I use a access point in a offline LAN system?

Ok thanks, I'm looking into that now

Can I use a access point in a offline LAN system?

So you're saying a point to point wireless bridge is all that is needed to reach 100 yards?. No router is needed?

Can I use a access point in a offline LAN system?

The warehouse is approximately 100x100 yds, that includes the parking lot. My current setup at one end of the warehouse includes 5 Amcrest PoE cameras and only covers 1/4 of the warehouse. But the next 2-3 camera setup needs to be wireless, at the other end of the warehouse and on another...

Can I use a access point in a offline LAN system?

This brings up a second question, if a modern router has a access point option, then do I need to buy a more expensive access point?. The only reason why i considered a access point for a offline system is because I assumed they offered much longer range, and maybe they do to a small degree...
