    Dahua 2MP Starlight Lineup

    Anybody got their hands on a HDW5231R-ZE yet? They have a wider viewing angle than the R-Z. I'm curious to know how they compare. I've already got the R-Z and I love it, just about to pull the trigger on another but discovered the R-ZE.

    I do not have an SD card installed in either camera, is this a requirement? I apologise for my naivety, I'm pretty green on the whole thing. I did indeed set the area, for testing purposes, I just highlighted the whole screen. Is this ok for testing? I don't have either camera installed yet...

    Thank you, yes MD is enabled, Record channel is enabled, snapshot is enabled etc. The cameras are recording fine if I select "Regular" (continuous recording). I just can't for the life of me get motion detection to work.

    Thanks for the swift reply, I believe so, however I'm not entirely sure which settings you're referring to. In the schedule menu whilst connected directly to the cameras via web browser, I have all the boxes checked. I can't seem to locate a "Record" box anywhere in the menu Sorry.
