I'm not 100% happy about my SD29204UE-GN (it lacks a details in night), so I'm thinking about upgrade to IPC-T5442T-ZE. Do you think it's real upgrade when it comes to night (IR) recordings quality? Anyone have SD29204UE and T5442T to compare them?

So placing external IR iluminator few meters away from camera would help?

Today is bad weather like 2*C, high humidity, foggy but no rain. I can see these things on my cam when IR is on (smart IR): But when I disable IR it looks "normal" like through my eyes: What are these flying things? Water vapor? They makes IR unusable...

I've setup IVS tripwire to match crossing my fence line. It's going trough flower meadow and those (quite tall) flowers just triggers IVS. I thought IVS is smarter and does filter out such movements...see yourself: The only way is to omit flowers? Really dahua's IVS is no such smart or my FW...

Select "generic dahua" camera type in SS to have IVS events available. You can record videos triggered by IVS then. ONVIF camera type does not handle IVS unfortunately.
