I see that in the VTO Local Settings->System at the bottom there is an Emergency Maintenance setting for Tuesday at 2:00 AM .. maybe turning this off will eliminate the notification.. it doesn’t bother me so I leave it on..

I have wireguard set up on my edge router 4 and wireguard iOS app has a setting to always on VPN when outside of certain wifi (i.e. when outside of my home wifi, it automatically turns on the VPN).

Hmm have you tried to restart it? Not sure what else you can do .. maybe try to see if there is a firmware update..

Post a screenshot here .. make sure to turn off both options. There is a checkbox and below an On Off option

But then, are you recording all the time? Or only on motion detection etc? If yes, wouldn't that eat a lot of space, especially if you have more 4k cameras?

I do have the VTO 2211G-WP and me and my wife have the DMSS iOS app and we both can answer the ring and open the door from the app but I haven’t yet connected it to an NVR .. I will in the near future and I will reply here (if I don’t forget ) Meanwhile I can answer from the phone or indoor...

Check the Dahua VTO-2211g-wp. It has poe and also RF card reader (if you need that). If not, you can check also Dahua VTO2202f-p.

I have the Dahua Vto2211g-wp (https://www.dahuasecurity.com/asset/upload/uploads/cpq/DHI-VTO2211G-WP_datasheet_20200720.pdf) which has ethernet with poe and wifi and I know there are plugins to integrate it over HA but haven’t done it yet.
