    Tried HikVision tftp tool...it hits the 'test tftpserver' line and pings begin but then shortly after (15secs or so) it fails ping again and client doesn't appear to successfully connect....I will try to use a switch between instead of the direct connection I have currently. Thanks for the help.

    I will try the HikVision TFTP and report back. The first HikVision TFTP Tool d/l I tried was dead so I moved on to TFTPD64...I hope that's my problem Thx

    Yes, I've searched this and other sites...everything I've tried does not work. Others seem to be able to TFTP recover...I can not. I'm wondering if there's another fix

    Purchased it on Amazon, fulfilled by Chinese seller (should've paid more attention to seller) What's done is done...I got the camera; connected to 192.0.0.64 - set IP, & other config and just before install figured I'd load fw ...MISTAKE. It rebooted and has never come back. I had 5.2.5-141021...
