    Empiretech 4k-T \ T-180 and NVR 5-el. AI settings.

I do believe i might have a clue as to why a) the 4kT wasn't detecting, and B) why the 180 doesn't detect well at the sides. Testing with another camera indoors, it seems it's highly sensitive to the person being vertical in the frame. My 4kT was mounted slightly rotated (5 -10 degrees...

On a related note, since you know the NVR, is it possible to add custom audio alerts? They appear to be wav files but i don't see how to add. The selection provided are not ideal. "You are under surveillance" gets old really fast!

    Empiretech 4k-T \ T-180 and NVR 5-el. AI settings.

This seems odd to me considering that physically it's two cameras , so you'd think the ai would at least be strongest in the hotspot of both\ either cam, not the zone where they merge. Ahh well, maybe using IVS as advised I'll get something a bit more usable.

Thanks for the extremely helpful reply. I note you are using the web interface, so far Ive not connected the NVR to the network (waiting for an IT guy i know to come and help me set up the firewall etc) so I've been using the inbuilt NVR interface. Does the web interface offer better control...

    Empiretech 4k-T \ T-180 and NVR 5-el. AI settings.

Hi all, i am a new owner of a relatively basic empiretech setup, currently 5 cameras (3x t-180 and 2x T (2.8mm) and an NVR 5-el. All working as advertised apart from the AI. I initially set up the 3 180 degree cams and found the AI disappointing. It detects people only relatively centrally...

audio output on empiretech ip cameras/nvr

That sounds like what I want. However ideally I'd use the 4k-t which has no internal speaker, however it has an audio out. I'm just trying to get confirmation that if I connect an amplified speaker to that output, I will have the same functionality, or if there are some other differences apart...

audio output on empiretech ip cameras/nvr

that...looks quite suitable! it does say "indoor use only" (whilst also saying ip65 waterproof!) but i guess it could be used as the basis of something a bit DIY..

audio output on empiretech ip cameras/nvr

yes. finding one that isnt a "hi-fi" garden speaker with associated cost is proving a bit tricky. i also dont need a bull-horn with 120 Db.. just a small weatherproof speaker with a few watts. i did see a link to something suitable here, but it was US only (im in the EU) and in any...

audio output on empiretech ip cameras/nvr

HI, im probably breaking some forum rule or other, but my first post regarding this question, here: newbie: audio warning on motion detection has gotten exactly zero responses, and i am unsure if i posted in the wrong place, or if there is some other reason ive got no replies. I...

newbie: audio warning on motion detection

Hi all, i hope i can get some advice.. im speccing out a cctv system for the house we are restoring, and researching like mad to make sure i get the right stuff. at some point i will get into BlueIris and customised AI stuff, but for now i just want something relatively plug and play. Ive...
