I have the Rove R2-4k. I have never owned a dashcam and really wasn't in tune with what to buy. Ordered the R2-4k on Black Friday for xmas. Installed it a few days after and am in love with the video quality. Really wish it offered a rear facing cam BUT not a deal breaker. Fast forward to...
I agree. I read the release thread and saw you can toggle the overlay on/off in UI3 and on the Mobile app. I double checked each of the camera properties in UI3 and mobile app, setting to show overlay is set to No. Got to be a bug.
Ok. I was leaning towards that but hadn't seen any other post about it so just wanted to make sure before I wasted anyones time lol.
Appreciate the help.
Correction on my last post. All cameras have now reverted to showing rectangle boxes on the recordings even though it is NOT selected. I really DON'T want this feature enabled.
Thanks for that but I never had it set to begin with which is why I am confused. Some of my cams are fine while a few still have the rectangles no matter what I set.
I updated to the latest BI version last night. Now all the new recordings show the motion rectangles. I never had this set. Tried going to the Trigger options for each cam, enable show motion rectangles then go back in and disable but some of my cameras still show the rectangles.
Any...
One observation that I am chalking up to the BETA is I can't set a cam to record continuous. I make the change and when I hit Ok, I see it change back to triggered. Not complaining but thought I would pass this along.
LOL, Sorry I have to jump off topic. I had to chuckle with the hotbed of debate created by announcing an update! I too work in IT and have worked on/used every incarnation of Windows since the beginning. Every time....and I do mean every time an update is pushed out there are negatives and...
I see that a few of my cams show a "signal restored" message in the log file about once a day. Does BI have the ability to log when the signal was lost? I'm just curious the length of time the cams are "offline"
Thank you and sorry if this has been asked before.
I'm going to guess this has been asked and answered many times. Is there a way to remove the left side pane and top menu so only the cameras show? I'm setting up a tablet to just display the cams and want to maximize the amount of screen space.
As always, your work is amazing!! Thanks for...
Sorry if this has been asked before but I am just no wrapping my head around BI scheduling and profiles etc. I have six cams, and I want one cam to play a sound during an alert ONLY from 8:00pm till midnight when triggered. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!
Yes yes, I know cheap garbage blah blah blah. For what I need this cam for it does the job and they were inexpensive. I currently have 5 of these cams. The only real annoying issue, one cam has v4.00 firmware while the rest have v5.00. If I attempt to update via the cam interface, it states...
No app to install, simply put the link in the devices web browser. I am not sure what browsers it has been tested with but Chrome and FF are a for sure.
Glad to help out and had nothing to do with being ignorant. Don't be so hard on yourself.
