I'm on cable internet, my NVR is local only same with the app, I use the app through local VPN also that's on my Asus router.
If your time line loads a full day almost instantly then I definitely have a bottleneck somewhere that I should try to figure out.

But you are also trying to compare to a camera at witch a vehicle is traveling at approximately 60 kilometers per hour, witch I'm sure if you had your camera to capture cars traveling, it to would have no problems..
I know the fence is really hurting it.. it was even worse when it was bouncing off the house vinyl siding.. but sometimes you win some or lose some lol .. I can't be picky, as long as I can identify things at night, and my tripwires are working properly, I'm ok with it.. :)

My footage at night is kinda dark, but I can still make out people no problem, and even the make of cars passing.
If you are seaking an awesome camera for night time I wouldn't recommend this one..
But if you are interested in very nice video during the day, it's definitely a good choice
Mind you, I have completely maxed out this camera as you can probably tell by the pictures of my settings, but believe it or not, the camera has held up perfectly, smooth as butter.. no jidder.. space and resources is not an issue, I have 9 of these cameras all maxed out.
