Thank you for the information. Certainly a lot to investigate. I like the integration of weather, security, etc some of you have. Do the tablets work from the nvr? It looks like something like the hik vision nvr is able to connect monitors via IP, but I'm not sure reolink can. There's only one hdmi out. I'm not sure if this is an issue with every brand or nvr, or if I actually can connect monitors/tablets via rj45 to the... -

I'm glad I stumbled across this thread, especially with a switch to reolink. I have a very similar issue, so I hope it is ok I follow up here. I have been looking to replace a whole home faulty music and sound intercom system, with the intent of reusing the cat5 pull for a poe video intercom...
