?hey guys
I'm curious if anyone knows the answer to this questions.
The current available firmware to download for this camera is 5.6.5
I've recently (say 3-5 months) bought 8 of these cameras, which were roughly manufactured april/may 2020, but every one of them has come with firmware version...
hey guys
any of you installed the hik-connect 4.3.1 app on a android device?
with the previous 3.x.x version I was able to add the NVR "locally" and it automatically had the cameras link
with this new version I cant seem to get the local network NVR working, by that it says the cameras arent linked.
hey guys
on my nvr ds-7608ni-i2 i doesnt show the "expert" mode for motion detection setting....however when i browse to the camera its available as an option and i set it on the camera to expert mode and adjust it to my need.
however it seems that the NVR does not pick up these settings...
hey guys
how would you reset both the nvr and ip cameras to factory defaults at the same time?
i have a ds-7608ni-i2 and some DS-2CD2355FWD-I cameras
now i know i can go to the nvr and select the factory reset option, but that doesnt seem to reset the cameras to factory default.

Hey guys
I have a all functional and working hikvision nvr 7608 running firmware 4.1.5
I also have hikvision 6 megapixle cameras.
It's all working and I can access the cameras individually using the virtual host option.
Anyway I want to know is there a way I can ping the cameras individually...
yeah after rebooting just the camera the settings all stay the same.
only seems to happen if the NVR is rebooted, and the only setting that changes is the "EVENT" recording bit rate, the CONTINUOUS rate is all ok. its a bit of a weird issue.
hey guys
i have DS-7608NI-I2 / 8P NVR with 8 DS-2CD2355FWD-I IP cameras
anyway I've noticed that if i reboot the NVR, camera 1 always changes the Main Stream (Event) max bit rate to 2048 from my own setting of 10,000 and frame rate from 25fps to Full Frame.
I've tried saving the settings...
i have the exact same nvr and software version, but on mine the menus/display is totally different to yours..thats very weird.
the i-frame settings, i had to change via the web interface for each camera.
Had the same thing happen with my new camera. First night in cold weather and the lens clouded up. Had to pull it apart and clean it. I'm guessing where the cameras are made aren't put together in a neutral temperature environment.
for anyone interested that firmware version is found on the russian hikvision ftp site ftp://ftp.hikvision.ru/01.%20%D0%A0%D0%B5%D0%B3%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%82%D1%80%D0%B0%D1%82%D0%BE%D1%80%D1%8B/
