Ok found out the issue. The system created a hard drive #2 with 0GB and it was causing the HDD error. I deleted it and it is resolved. /closed- recon

WD Purple Pro with DS-7608NI NVR: HDD Exception
The new 8GB Purple Pro HDD (WD8001PURP) has 256MB cache and seems to be throwing HDD exceptions constantly. I turned off the buzzer and it does not seem that there are any issues with the recording. But I am worried if it misses a few event recordings. Has anyone upgraded their HDD? Hoping a...- recon
