    Thanks wittaj, that makes sense. My currentcameras just have a POE and a 12v cord. But as you sa, if I get one with PTZ I can add one of the externalmic and speaker units. I'll probablyhave torun another POE CAT6 for that. Thanks for your help. Regards, Jim

    We can see that camera 3 has outdated firmware, but I can't seem to get TFTP to connect. I have also attempted to enable DHCP for the camera without success. and also attempted to install a new password via the HikVision password app. also without success.

    Spaceman, I think you are right about the problem with my third camera being password related. These units do not have a reset button.

    I feel silly. I wasn't using SADP properly. I just got 2 out of 3 cameras working properly using only SADP Tool. Thanks for all of your help. I really appreciate this forum. You guys (and gals) knpw what you are talking about by virtue of hands on experience. :)
