    4mm Mini Dome 4MP 6MP or 8MP

Looking to get a Hikvision Mini Dome for the house (inside the main floor) pointed at the door. Few questions, I've read in past that higher MP provides worse IR/Night imaging and also read the opposite... What say you? Based on that, where is the best place to get a Hikvision Mini Dome? OR if...

Hikvision indoor low profile 4mm camera - Recommendation

Hey All - looking for a minimal intrusive dome/mini dome camera for the inside of my home. Most likely a 4mm and main use will be focused on the entry way to the home (from the inside). What do you all recommend? I've always used Hikvision, but open to other brands.

Switching from Blue Iris to NVR suggestions on compatibility and remote viewing.

I believe they all have ONVIF capabilities if I remember correctly when looking at each camera spec. They were bought in late 2016. But thanks I’m going to confirm.

Switching from Blue Iris to NVR suggestions on compatibility and remote viewing.

Maybe but computer issues, drives etc, can lead to more problems so don’t want to leave it. I’m only making suggestions and articulating they are responsible for doing it if they want to use cameras. I’m not removing them as they are all over and more of a pain. Just leaving the drops...

Switching from Blue Iris to NVR suggestions on compatibility and remote viewing.

I don’t want to leave computer behind. Have it connected, deal with everything and any issues that arise. Tenant not tech savvy. It will be the tenants responsibility to provid e an NVR. im leaving the cameras behind.

Switching from Blue Iris to NVR suggestions on compatibility and remote viewing.

Morning all, I have Hikvision and Dahua IP POE cameras, about 7 in total that are about 3 years old. I'm renting my home and need to connect them to an NVR that will provide access via APP to view the cameras. I told the tenants I would recommend some NVRs, are there any that work with both...

    Covering Outdoor / Indoor cameras

I have 3 outdoor dome cameras and two indoor mini dome cameras. I'm planning on renting the home for a few years (ultimately coming back). I'm trying to avoid removing them and patching the wall so i'm looking for some alternative that I can use to cover the cameras when the home is being...

FPS dropped to 1-4 and CPU very low 4-8%, not sure what's going on

So I swapped out the patch cable from my POE Switch to my main switch. It looks like same problem, would consensus be that it's a bad POE Switch (mind you I just got it 2 days ago). Any other way to tell for sure? What POE switches do you all recommend if I have to get another? If I remember...

FPS dropped to 1-4 and CPU very low 4-8%, not sure what's going on

Ok. I’ll troubleshoot the cable from Poe to managed 24 switch. If it’s not that then has to be poe. All cams having same problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

FPS dropped to 1-4 and CPU very low 4-8%, not sure what's going on

BI machine connected to smart managed 24 port switch. The BV POE switch is also connected to the 24 port switch. You thinking my new POE switch may crapped out? Any way to trouble shoot? Connect something to the POE switch and see if it crashes/has slow response? Sent from my iPhone using...

FPS dropped to 1-4 and CPU very low 4-8%, not sure what's going on

How can i tell from my browser the FPS? I'm looking (prob is now no action), but pretty sure it's slow as watching clock. Also, loggin directly in seems slow to respond, when clicking the tabs... Not sure what it can be... internet speed is fine... When I ping my BI CPU, seems fine, 0% loss...

FPS dropped to 1-4 and CPU very low 4-8%, not sure what's going on

So all of a sudden I noticed all of my cams have lowered the FPS to 1-4 and the CPU usage is very low. Not sure what happened. Video driver still the same as it's always been, latest BI running on my Win 10. Thoughts?
