Does anyone know if this process would work with a Lorex NVR? After reading a lot of other threads about Dahua firmware features and camera adjustments, I want to get rid of the Lorex firmware, which is lacking.

Does anyone know why the file in the first post will download partially and then stop? On all of my attempts, the file will stop downloading near 30.0 -32 mb mark. When trying to resume the download, it states that "you do not have permission to access the....." Thanks...

Thanks for the replies, and furthering my understanding!! Is there anything else you see that might help me understand which model I have? I'm still trying to figure out how to get audio to one camera.....without buying anything lorex branded.

Realizing that my pics didn't show the numbers on the individual chips, I've reposted hoping that someone knows which model dvr equivalent, that I have.

The dahua Web page lists features that make my nvr seem to be a 5216.... but maybe the heavier heat sink, which I could add, might add to it being a 4ks2 model.
