I just wanted to chip in with my experience of Hivision mindome (2542) and domes (2142). Yes they both start doing IR glare if the clear dome gets dirty or starts aging, but supposedly they are more resisting to tampering and sometimes it's not immediately obvious where they are oriented...

Any suggestion on how to connect this camera to hikconnect? It boggles my mind why it would not have hikconnect settings, since much older and cheaper cameras do. I recently found out it works on hikconnect locally (within the lan) just fine, it's just missing the settings to activate...
