    So does anyone know what you are actually "shorting" or grounding out when you reset one of these cameras? Is it just like a small charge like a battery that holds the information for settings, passwords etc? Those 2 holes in the board didnt do anything when I used a jumper on them, however...

    I don't just those I took. But I mean you can find the same ones on MANY sellers online. They look identical, these are a metal shell which I like over some of the newer plastic "stuff".

    These cameras came with a a few different Chinese vendors and they haven't seemed to bad for my use.
