Still never got this to work couldn't locate correct pins....if anybody is interested in trying to fix this would be willing to ship and pay if they are successful in unbricking it....I just don't have the time and there are plenty of people on here way smarter than me at this....Tks for any... -

Ok so Im stumped I have tried every connection I could find in the turret and in the housing. The only place I seem to get anything is the 4 pin connector under the top housing of the unit see pic....the other 3 pin connector on the turret next to the SD card and reset switch has a jumper on... -

Yea...I cracked open the back of the turret...there doesn't seem to be a serial port Connection that I can see...was hoping to find some sort of diagram online but bo luck... -

I purchased the UART cable. I have tried using the RS485 on the pigtail of the camera but I cannot get it to work. If anybody has any suggestions or knows some that can assist in repair I would appreciate....Tks -

Dahua IPC unbricking / recovery over serial UART and TFTP
Can anybody help I have a SD8A840-HNF-PA. I tried to update the firmware but didn't realize it was the US version camera is now bricked. It keeps trying to connect to network but cycles every 30sec with no GUI or IP access. I have tried almost every method discussed in this thread but no luck... -

Yes the camera powers on, but no I CANNOT access the web interface. It tries to communicate with the switch then after about 5-10 sec it goes out and starts all over again. How or where would I communicate with it over a serial connection? -

Any chance anybody can post how to set up IVS/Tripwire on this camera? Been playing with it but cant seem to get it to work....I've watched as many YouTube videos as I can find but no luck.....I can set up the rule on preset 1 I.E. the greenline, save it but when I go to live the rule doesn't... -

Need help have ENS SPT4C425IR-E was working fine over WAN but lost settings have been trying for hours to get back up....Blue Iris can see it and get all the parameters but every time I get "No Signal" any ideas user and password are correct but I just get failed to connect?- msp116
