Did you ever figure out the cause for the repeated login / logouts? I'm having the same problem on my Dahua cameras in Synology Surveillance Station (SS). The only exception is for cameras loaded into SS with the [ONIF] Brand- no repeated login issues for those cams.

Depends on the environment and weather exposure but it seems to work well around my house for several months. Should be fine around the fixtures just don’t spray water in the fixture and wear PPE when spraying.

Cypermethrin as found in the Demon insecticide packets and applied via a pump sprayer works great. Just don’t spray the lens of the camera so it doesn’t get cloudy.
