To log into the NVR with the laptop set to 192.168.1.22 i need to use the ip that you mentioned in post 25# right?

I can acces the camera on my laptop tho and the nvr cant acces it

I cant seem to access the NVR from my laptop i use ethernet cable that is connected to the switch

In the other house i am able to see the ip range for DHCP and its 192.168.8.2-192.168.8.100 what should i set the nvr and camera to. Idk why the nvr is getting these auto settings but i would really apreciate some help yet again

i just saw that i can see the ip of the wifi on the cameras in the other house its 192.168.8.48 i cannot see the gateway tho

i belive thats the case but like 1year ago i was able to log in the web gui but i didnt know the password tried like 10 different passwords from different sites and for some reason i was not able to log in to the web GUI anymore thats the case for 1 of my friends we are on the same ISP yes it...

if making a static ip is through my router settings then thats kinda impossible i cant connect to my router web GUI i dont know why i thinks its my ISP that doesnt let me

i am not sure i know how to do this can you explain how? and what are the ranges for a unique ip that is in the same subnet as the nvr

my final goal is to be able to use the hik-connect app becouse the camera is going to be in a different house thats in a different city and whats the point in being able to see the camera only localy (i dont have a pc there yet)

when i change back to my normal ip i sitll cant connect to the camera and the camera doesnt connect to my HIKVISION NVR without me changing its ip to the 1 you said but with that ip it doesnt have internet and i cant use the hik-connect app
