hi I have updated the IVMS software and activated the NVR, however, it still shows as not connected...... The IP address for the NVR is in the range of other devices on the Router, so expect DHCP is setup on the NVR.... Well done for being able to notice the IVMS is outdated...!

it was made in China, but i didnt source it directly from there. tried that password - no joy. ivms4200 says it cannot connect...... note that it invites to modify and not to activate.... i will get a monitor and see if i can log in to the NVR directly....not sure if the ISP router is allowing...

I get as far as seeing the device in the management tab on ivms4200 but it fails to connect when input a password (it says modify not activate) I don't have a monitor to plug in at moment but can get one this week from office. We will only ever have mac to interface...

hi, Attempting to set this up on a MAC. i can see the NVR on the SKY router, but cannot login to it directly using Firefox on the IP address. i am unable to find SADP tool on the Hikvision website, if this is needed. Do i have to use the ivms4200 software to set the NVR up? i can see the NVR...
