Can't connect to BI via LAN

Something changed with BI. On the BI website URL that uses your serial number to show you the WAN and LAN IP address, the LAP IP now pulls from the ethernet card that is connected to the cameras. I'm using DUAL NIC. It used to give the internal IP of the LAN that faces the internet. I was able...

The latest one. 6.0.9.4 No IP addresses show as banned. I restarted the PC as well. No luck.

Can't connect to BI via LAN

I have the web interface enabled through BI. On my LAN, I was previously able to login using the LAN IP address through the web interface. For some reason, this no longer works. If I am on another network, I can still connect through the web interface via WAN. Any ideas what could be causing this?

    Ethernet wire pairs faulty

Thanks. I have 10 cameras installed. For 8 of them, with a camera on one side and a tester on the other, I get all eight lights active. The other two: one is missing light 4 and another light 8 All the cameras are the same

    Faulty patch panel?

I have a Cablematters 24-port patch panel with inline keystones that connect the ethernet wires from my cameras to my POE switch. I've been having a random camera disconnect. After some troubleshooting, I noticed that when I move the keystone around with my fingers, it sometimes causes...

    Ethernet wire pairs faulty

I've been doing some diagnostics on my network. While plugging in a cable tester on one end and my dahua poe camera at the other end, I noticed on one of the cables light #4 doesn't work and on another cable, light #8 doesnt work. Is this important at all? The cameras seem to work fine. I...

    NoSignal status counter

Is it common for a camera to have a few NoSignal counts in the BI status log? Or is this usually indicative of some kind of problem?

    Camera No signal

Thanks. Yes, I'm trying that first. When I say I am unplugging/plugging the cable, I'm not actually unplugging and plugging the cable that runs to the camera. I'm unplugging the small cable that runs from the patch panel to the switch.

    Camera No signal

Thanks. I guess what confuses me is if this was a cable problem, why would unplugging and replugging the cable at the switch put the camera back online? It seems like it just needs a power off, power on to get it going again.

    Yellow circle and blue bell?

What does this small yellow circle in the top right of the camera preview mean? What about the blue bell?

    Camera No signal

Would a cable tester show if there is a problem? Or can that give you a false positive (cable is bad, but tester shows its good)?

    Camera No signal

I'm pretty sure its going to be a termination issue. I've had a lot of problem with the cables. Can I just cut off the cable right at the start of the plastic connector so I don't waste anymore cable? Also, I'm so lost on what crimping tool etc to get. I just want something simple to get the...

    Camera No signal

Yes, I did use dielectric grease. Do you have any recommended tools for terminating CAT6 cable? The cable is pretty short outside, so I don't want to ruin much more of it.

    Camera No signal

I have a T54IR-ZE-S3 that keeps showing as "No Signal" on BI. It was working great for the first few weeks, but now I keep getting this error. If I unplug the camera from the POE switch, and plug it back in, the camera starts working again. Then randomly, it stops working again. The camera has...
