    How or how often do you sync the time on this doorbell if it’s closed network? I noticed recently it’s off 7 mins from restart 2 days ago, so need to sync with phone app. (I have local ntp server for cameras but this DB doesn’t support custom ntp server in configuration.)

    How do you deal with indoor rated cable and outdoor rated cable if some part of cables must be exposed to sun? I tried to find some cables like CMP and UV resistant but most of UV rated ones are not CMP or even CMR.

    If your subnet mask is 255.255.0.0, then 192.168.1.xx and 192.168.255.xx can talk. But usually subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, so they talk within the last octet (last segment of IP address)

    Possible if I make another hole thru garage, but trying to minimize the number of holes in outer wall since woodpeckers have already made bunch. Probably paint or conduit would be fine for me. (Is it just me reluctant to drill the outer hole blindly? :lol:) Hope this could block carpenter ants...

    Thanks. Front facing ones can be wired a bit easily since there are already coax cables, which I can expand the hole and run ethernet cables. (A bit worry of ants/silverfish coming from there, thou.) Problem is Cam D and E, which I failed to reach the soffit near the flood light. Hard to crawl...
