Funny you should suggest this because that is exactly what I was doing before you posted. I have logged into the cameras itself. Turns out only camera 1 has an option for SMD and the other 4 cameras do not. In addition, there was no recording schedule set for motion detection in any of the 4... -

The yellow MD events are not showing up on the timeline of the video feed on the NVR timeline for the 4 cameras. This I assume is why I am not getting alerts to the MDSS app. The yellow MD events are showing up for the single TIOC camera though as are the DMSS notifications -

yes i see that. However, when I try and configure for SMD it comes back with and error that this "configuration is not supported" I was wondering if there is a conflict somewhere that you cant have motion detection and SMD at the same time with the camera. Thanks for you responses BTW -
