    I can't find a way safely do the transformer in the outdoor as the transformer can't be in enclosed box. And on the other side of the doorbell wall there is no 120 outlet. It is a small hall way that is cut off by fireplace. Only power source is the light switch but due to the old building code...

    I am looking to power the doorbell off the 120v floodlight with the outdoor usb power adapter The 1950 house don't have any wire for doorbell at all. And in a spot that is hard to run Cat cable to it Looking to cut off the 120 side and splice it off the floodlight https://a.co/d/4LAzQ5H
