    Ok finally after hours success! I restored and defaulted all cameras and the NVR and they finally came up. There must have been some conflicting setting in the cameras prohibiting them from connecting.

    hmmm, I did try that but didnt have any luck. Will it matter if I had pre configured each camera to DHCP prior to trying them with the NVR? They did work just fine with my PC. I even tried to change the ip address in the nvr to what the cameras were but no luck there either.

    well ended up getting the DS-7608NI-SE2/8P from Nellys and I am not having any luck with it seeing my cameras. I have searched hi and low for how the cameras should be configured for the NVR but I cant find anything definitive.

    I just took delivery of my DS-7608NI-E2/8P and damned if I can get it to see my 3 DS-2CD2332-I cameras. I have been messing with it all night and I cannot get the NVR to see the cameras no matter what I do. They do work on their own via my network.
